Maria, a mother of four, joined Adamson’s in 2015 as a Punch Fitness instructor. Today, she heads up the Warrior Program and BoxFit classes, works as a Personal Trainer and Team Training instructor, and plays a key customer service role at the front desk.

Maria began boxing at age 16, eventually entering her first fight in 1999 which ended in a victory via TKO. She continued to improve her knowledge and fighting skills as she competed over the next several years. In 2007, just 6 months after her daughter was born, she earned a TKO victory in a Tough-man Competition. Soon after, she began to train in Jiu Jitsu, going on to win her first mixed martial arts competition with a TKO victory in 2009.

In 2011, Maria went professional, and won her first pro fight with a decisive decision. Along the way she has added Muay Thai, kickboxing, and wrestling to her arsenal of skills, and traveled several western states fighting professionally.
