I recently turned 40, my youngest (4th) child started kindergarten, and I decided to get back to my pre-baby body. Previously I've done a few triathlons and 5K's but strength training was a missing component. Working with a trainer I find that I CAN do things that I wouldn't have even tried! Initially I wrote "weight loss" as my goal in my manual, but after eight weeks I realize that's not my goal. My body is reshaping, losing inches, and gaining muscle. Some of my favorite jeans are so loose that my teen-age daughters won't let me wear them out of the house! The nutrition plan has me so dialed in that when I cheated at Halloween I felt terrible! Training is now something I just go and do. I don't dread it. It's on the calendar-it's my job right now. I feel great! I feel REALLY good.
